It affords ample getaway opportunities for fun in the water, including boating, fishing, water skiing, and jet skiing. The Colorado River Recreation Area extends almost 650 miles, from Yuma, Arizona to Lake Powell, with almost 95 miles of navigable water between Blythe and Yuma. The small town Ehrenberg and surrounding area offers still more diverse activities, including speedboat racing, off-road excursions, and golf. Local gold and gem mines are also popular.
